The whole breeding cycle in one place

From the first day of heat, through progesterone and mating, to pregnancy and whelping. Faunak works out the mating window, the due date and the next heat, and the cycle's stage updates itself.

A notebook and a spreadsheet won't do the maths

A cycle is dozens of dates and results you have to piece together.

  • Dates all over the place. Heat start in a calendar, results in an email from the lab, matings in your notes.

  • Mating window worked out on paper. You have to read every progesterone result yourself to work out when she ovulated and when to mate her.

  • History you can't see. When was the last heat and how long was the gap? Without history the next one is hard to plan.

How it works

Three steps, Faunak works out the rest.

  1. 01

    Start a cycle

Enter the first day of heat. The stage updates itself: in heat, mated, pregnant, whelped or a cycle without a litter.

  2. 02

    Add measurements

Progesterone in ng/ml or nmol/l, LH, temperature, weight, ultrasound, relaxin and cytology, with a chart and zones.

  3. 03

    Plan mating and whelping

Once you enter ovulation you see the mating window, and after mating the expected due date and pregnancy stages.

What you get

  • Due date. Counted from ovulation (± 1 day) or from the first mating (± 5 days). You can also enter your own date.

  • Pregnancy stages. When to do the ultrasound and X-ray, prepare the whelping box and start taking her temperature.

  • Temperature drop before whelping. Faunak compares the latest reading with the earlier ones and shows the drop that signals whelping.

  • A litter straight from the cycle. After whelping you create the litter from the cycle, with the parents and date. A failed cycle closes without a litter.
